Why have a new gas boiler

When is it time to get a new boiler fitted?

If you have a gas boiler and it keeps breaking down and needing repairs or it has intermittent problems that are hard to diagnose and get repaired, then it may be time to get the gas boiler replaced rather then throwing more money at costly repairs.

Compared to the new modern day boilers old boilers are very expensive to run. They use more gas and time to heat the home. Having a new boiler installation and the correct boiler in your home can save you hundreds of pounds on your energy bills.

Are old gas boilers dangerous.

If you have an old gas boiler it is important to get it serviced every 12 months or have a gas safety check to make sure it is safe for your family to use. As long as all the seals and safety devise are working then it will be safe to use but it will not be as energy efficient as a new combination boiler however many times you get it cleaned and/or serviced.

Do you need a new gas boiler that has been installed serviced?

You may have a brand new combination or system boiler fitted and it is working fine and the heating bills are lower which is fantastic but to keep your boiler running correctly and making sure it is safe it is recommend by boiler manufacturers to have the gas boiler serviced every 12 months.

All boilers come with a 12 months warranty but to keep the warranty valid the boiler will need to be serviced yearly.

What we recommend

At Aqua Plumbing we can fit any gas boiler make and model on the market or within your budget. We will also advise on the boiler type you need so you get the correct boiler for your home in order for it to work efficiently with the central heating and hot water system.

Our preferred boilers are manufactured by Vaillant. They are a very reliable boiler with different specs and Vaillant have a good customer service should you need help to use their warranty. We can also give higher warranties.

New gas boiler installation procedure

Call / Text / WhasApp/ Email Us

Contact one of our friendly team and we can arrange for a qualified Gas Safe engineer to attend the property to give you a free estimate.

When the gas engineer has done the checks / estimate

Once our gas engineer has done his checks he will send the information to the office and we will get an estimate written up and sent to the email address we have been given.

Excepting the estimate

Once you have confirmed you would like to proceed with the estimate we will get the materials ordered and arrange a date for the boiler to be installed.

Date of gas boiler installation

The water will need to be turned off to start the boiler installation as the heating pipes and hot and cold supply will need to be drained down, the water might be off for a least 4/5 hours.

Installing the new combination / system boiler

Once the old system has been drained down the old boiler will be removed and the new boiler fitted in the agreed position on the estimate.

Pipe work / valves / thermostats

When the boiler is installed the engineer will then connect the pipes and fit any new valves to the radiators and put in a new. thermostat for the heating system.

Installation complete

Once the boiler installation has been completed the gas engineer will commission the boiler and heating system and check it is working correctly.

Finishing up

Once the heating and hot water is back up and running and the rubbish has been cleared away the gas engineers will fill out the benchmark form and write you a receipt.

Office

Once we have received the benchmark form the engineer we will register it with Gas Safe and the manufacture for the warranty and they will send you the certificates by post.
