When is it time to get a new boiler fitted?

The time to get your old gas boiler replaced is when it keeps having intermittent problems and it is hard to find the boiler fault or it keeps breaking down and needing a repair or due to its age and has become uneconomical to get it repaired or parts have become obsolete.

Making the decision to have the gas boiler replaced at the right time to a more modern gas boiler can save you hundreds of pounds on your heating bills and money being spent repairing on an old gas heating boiler.

Are old gas boilers dangerous.

Old gas boilers are not dangerous if they are check with a yearly boiler service and looked after to make sure its safe for your family to use. The new combination and system boilers fitted today have loads of safety devices and are a lot saver to use and more economical.

Do you need a new gas boiler that has been installed serviced?

Having a new gas boiler fitted is great and that it is modern and up to date with the latest gas safety devices but that does not mean you should not have it checked yearly, most manufactures insists that the gas boiler is checked to keep their warranty valid

What we recommend

At Aqua Plumbing we will install any make of gas boiler you want. We understand everyone has different budgets or a preferred boiler make.

Our preferred gas boiler installation would be a Vaillant boiler as we are Vaillant approved gas boiler engineers so we can give you a higher warranty of up to 12 years. All new Romford boiler installations come with a power flush.

New gas boiler installation procedure

Call / Text / WhasApp/ Email Us

Contact one of our friendly team and we can arrange for a qualified Gas Safe engineer to attend the property to give you a free estimate.

When the gas engineer has done the checks / estimate

Once our Gas Safe engineer has done his checks he will send the information to the office and we will get an estimate written up and sent to the email address we have been given.

Excepting the estimate

Once you have confirmed you would like to proceed with the estimate we will get the materials ordered and arrange a date for the boiler to be installed.

Date of gas boiler installation

The water will need to be turned off to start the boiler installation as the heating pipes and hot and cold supply will need to be drained down, the water might be off for at least 4 to 5 hours.

Installing the new combination / system boiler

Once the old system has been drained down the old boiler will be removed and the new boiler fitted in the agreed position on the estimate.

Pipe work / valves / thermostats

When the boiler is installed the Gas Safe engineer will then connect the pipes and fit any new valves to the radiators and put in a new thermostat for the heating system.

Installation complete

Once the boiler installation has been completed the Gas Safe engineer will commission the boiler and heating system and check it is working correctly.

Finishing up

Once the heating and hot water is back up and running and the rubbish cleared away, the Gas Safe engineers will fill out the benchmark form and write you a receipt.

Office

Once we have received the benchmark form from the engineer we will register it with Gas Safe and the manufacture for the warranty and they will send you the certificates by post.
