I have used Danny a fair few times now to perform Gas Cert at tenanted properties. Common taps & problems

Taps leaking

Due to wear and tear the tap washers, seals or cartridges can start leaking causing a constant leak from the joints/base. Replacing the washers or cartridges can normally resolve this plumbing problem.

Constant drip

If the tap has a constant drip coming out the spout this could be caused by a faulty cartridge not closing properly if you know the make and model of the tap you can get these replaced.

Tap handle not turning

If the handle is not turning and very stiff this could be cause by limescale or the valve inside has seized. The tap cartridge will need replacing.

Low water pressure

If there is no water coming out of the tap or the pressure is really low this could be a blockage in the tap, limescale, parts have worn or a problem with the boiler or hot water cylinder

Isolation valves

On every tap in the home there should be a isolation valve to shut the water off to the tap for either replacing or maintenance sometimes these can stop working or leak if not been used for a while we can replace these as well.
