Do you want to replace your old gas hob with a new one? at Aqua Plumbing. We are experts in gas hob replacement and new installations.

We offer a fixed prices for a like-for-like replacements, meaning that the new hob has the same size and shape as the old one.

If its a complete new installation and you need extra gas pipe done and the work surface needs cutting we also offer this service.

If your not sure what gas hob you require or pipe work needed we give free quotes either over the phone or we can come to the property.

Free Standing Cooker Installation

Free standing cookers are the main cookers we install at Aqua Plumbing, we offer a fixed price for new installation and gas safety checks.

All new gas cooker installations come with a new gas hose and safety chain if required, we carry all the parts required to install gas cookers so there are no delays when your new cooker has arrived and ready to be installed.

Once the new installation has been completed and if you would like the old cooker taken away we can offer this service.

Range Cooker Installation

Range cookers are becoming the cooker of choice in the home the modern day range cooker offers so much more then a standard gas cooker or gas hob as they have multiple ovens and up to eight burners.

At Aqua Plumbing we specialise in in range cooker replacements and complete new installations all on fixed prices.

We offer free quotes and advise for all new installations, all our installation comes with a one year guarantee on workmanship and any parts fitted.

You will receive a gas certificate for the installation by a fully qualified Gas Safe engineers.

Gas cooker installations requirements

Installation requirements

Before the new gas hob is fitted the gas engineers will carry out a few checks to make sure that the new gas hob can be installed

The area around the gas hob will be inspected. This is called the “hot zone”. We make sure there is no combustible materials in this space like electric sockets, shelves, loose wall paper or kitchen cupboards. A clearance of 750mm above and 50mm to the side is needed for the gas hob.

It is a requirements that there is an openable window to the outside for ventilation or a suitable extractor fan that meets the requirements for the new gas hob installation.

If these requirements are not met we will not be able to complete the plumbing installation.
