Megaflo servicing, repairs & installations
Megaflo Servicing
Its important to get your Megaflo serviced yearly to make sure it is safe to use as there are safety devices on the unit that must be checked.
During the Megaflo servicing the air gap will be recharged, all the safety devices tested and checked with the resistance on the immersion to make sure they are heating up and there are no leaks.
Megaflo repairs
Megaflo water units are in constant use to give your home hot water all year round so it inevitable that after some time parts will need replacing due to wear and tear. The most common problem for hot water loss is faulty immersion elements or thermostats. These can be easily sourced and replaced.

What’s in a unvented service
Visual checks
Check that the appliance has been installed correctly and to the manufacturer’s specification and there are no leaks.
Electrical check
Check the immersion heater has been wired correctly and working. Also check the immersion heater for resistance.
Regenerate air gar
Turn mains off and reset the air gap in the tank. This can sometimes improve water pressure and stop temperature and pressure valves dripping.
Safety devices
Check the pressure relief valves are working correctly and termination point are correct.
Paper work
Complete customers service record and issue a certificate for the service.
Megaflo common faults
Unvented cylinder leaking
Megaflo unvented water heaters over time can incur leaks as they are a water cylinder under pressure, most common leaks are from the immersions or safety valves.
No hot water
If your Megaflo water tank is not producing hot water this could be few problems like the immersion, fuses or thermostats are faulty, these parts can be easily replaced.
Immersion heaters
All Megaflo are fitted with immersions a main one at the bottom and a booster one in the middle over time these elements will need replacing due to wear and tear.
Unvented cylinder leaking
Megaflo unvented water heaters over time can incur leaks as they are a water cylinder under pressure, most common leaks are from the immersions or safety valves.
No hot water
