Why have a new gas boiler

When is it time to get a new boiler fitted?

If you have a gas boiler and it keeps breaking down, or has an intermittent problem and the boiler is quite old, sometimes it is more cost efficient to get a boiler replacement rather than keep throwing money at costly repair bills for it to stop working again in the future.

Old gas boilers can be very expensive to run compared to the modern day boilers. Having the old boiler replaced with a suitable gas boiler that is selected to work correctly in your home can save you hundreds of pounds a year on your heating bills.

Are old gas boilers dangerous.

All old boilers should be checked with a yearly service to make sure that it is safe for you and your family to use, the new boilers used today are a lot safer and are all room sealed to make them extra safe and are full of safety devices to protect you if the boiler was to fail.

Do you need a new gas boiler that has been installed serviced?

The answer is yes, all gas boilers old and new should be serviced or a gas safety check every 12 months.

Some of gas boiler companies give up to a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty on their boilers for parts and labour but only if the boiler has been serviced annually.

We always recommend Vaillant boilers for a high spec boiler. We are also Vaillant advanced approved installers so can give higher warranties on these boilers

New gas boiler installation procedure

Call / Text / WhasApp/ Email Us

Contact one of our friendly team and we can arrange for a qualified Gas Safe engineer to attend the property to give you a free estimate.

When the gas engineer has done the checks / estimate

Once our gas engineer has done his checks he will send the information to the office and we will get an estimate written up and sent to the email address we have been given.

Excepting the estimate

Once you have confirmed you would like to proceed with the estimate we will get the materials ordered and arrange a date for the boiler to be installed.

Date of gas boiler installation

The water will need to be turned off to start the boiler installation as the heating pipes and hot and cold supply will need to be drained down, the water might be off for a least 4/5 hours.

Installing the new combination / system boiler

Once the old system has been drained down the old boiler will be removed and the new boiler fitted in the agreed position on the estimate.

Pipe work / valves / thermostats

When the boiler is installed the engineer will then connect the pipes and fit any new valves to the radiators and put in a new. thermostat for the heating system.

Installation complete

Once the boiler installation has been completed the gas engineer will commission the boiler and heating system and check it is working correctly.

Finishing up

Once the heating and hot water is back up and running and the rubbish has been cleared away the gas engineers will fill out the benchmark form and write you a receipt.

Office

Once we have received the benchmark form the engineer we will register it with Gas Safe and the manufacture for the warranty and they will send you the certificates by post.
