Who is a landlord

A landlord is anyone who rents out a property, such as residential dwelling, room to let or rental holiday accommodation that is subject to a lease or licence agreement. You may be classified as a short-term landlord, long term landlord or a lettings and management agent depending on the length and type of rental you are providing.

By having the boiler checked annually any small problems found can be put right before they turn into an expensive repair or prevent the boiler or gas appliance becoming dangerous or need a boiler replacement.

Who can have one

A Gas Safety check does not just have to be for landlords who are renting out there property. You may want a Gas Safety check if you are buying a new home and want the gas and boiler checked before you buy it to make sure it is in good working order so you do not move into your new home and be landed with a boiler repair bill straight way.

What we offer

Aqua Plumbing have been doing Gas Safety checks for over 20 years. It is one of our main jobs that we carry out every year for the many landlords on our books.

Our Gas Safe engineers are fully qualified and trained on all gas appliances so not only can we carry out the gas checks we can also repair or replace parts that are found to be faulty on the gas inspection.

By having your property gas checked or boiler serviced by us you can be assured it has been carried out to a high standard and to the latest Gas Safe regulations.

We also offer an annual reminder service. You will receive a text two weeks before the certificate expires to enable you time to contact the tenant to arrange access for the Gas Safety Certificate CP12 to be carried out.
