Terms & Conditions
1. Working Hours
The customer shall give access within Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Gas Services normal working hours of 8am – 5pm. In the event of this not
being given and overtime being worked at the customer’s request, an extra cost will be chargeable in addition to the price quoted, (this also
includes guaranteed work).
2. Parking Permits / Licences
Parking permits, if required, should be supplied by the homeowner, landlord or tenant so the work can be carried out at the property.
Parking charges or congestion charges will be added to the receipt / invoice if the above cannot be given.
Any penalty notices or fines accrued during the work at the property not at Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Gas Services fault will be charged to the
homeowner, landlord or tenant.
Any licence, permit or other authority necessary for the execution of the work shall be obtained by the homeowner, landlord or tenant.
3. Guarantee
Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Gas Services guarantees its workmanship for 365 days from the date of the invoice and parts covered under
the manufactures warranty.
Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Gas Services guarantee does not cover defects due to fair wear and tear. The replacement of immersions,
thermostats, fuses or any cause beyond the control of Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Gas Services is null and void.
Aqua Plumbing & Heating Services guarantee does not cover drain or blockages clearance.
Aqua Plumbing & Heating Services guarantee does not cover any temporary repairs.
4. Terms of Payment
Payments shall be made in full on completion of the work on the same day as the invoice / receipt either by credit card, debit card, BACS, or
cash we do not accept cheques. All diagnostic work is chargeable.
The payment is the responsibility for whoever signed the invoice / receipt. Tenants will be liable for full payment if the landlord does not pay the
full amount on the receipt / invoice.
Guarantees / Warranties are only valid if full payment has been made on completion of works.
5. Pipes and Valves
No responsibility is accepted by Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Gas Services or defects arising on old pipework, valves or fittings during an
installation or repair that is not quoted for in the work being completed. Work is carried out on the assumption that the excising plumbing and
heating system is in satisfactory condition.
6. Water Heaters / Boilers / Power Flushing
Quotations for water heaters, boiler installations / repairs or power flushing are based on the assumption that the existing plumbing & Heating
system is in a satisfactory condition. No responsibility is accepted for defects arising in boilers, water tanks, pipes, valves or fitting etc during or
subsequent to installation or power flushing work carried out by Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Gas Services.
7. Making Good etc.
Whilst every care will be taken by Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Gas Services during their attendance, they accept no
responsibility for any damage to plaster work, decorations, flooring, tiles, carpets etc, unless specifically provided for in the
quotation. Cuts or holes made to compete the works will be made good but not permanently or re-decorated. Floorboards will not be
permanently screwed or fixed down.
We do not take responsibility for carpets that are damaged by dirty water in the execution of any plumbing and heating
system pipe work.
8. Quotes / Price Increases
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of quote and are subject to change if prices / parts rise and will be adjusted to meet any price
variations in labour or materials accruing after the date or quotation.
9. Cancellation
Cancellation must be made 24 hours prior to the date and time agreed by Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Gas Services for the work to be
carried out. Failure to do so will incur a cancellation fee or deposit not being refunded.
Work subsequently cancelled and/or cannot be completed on arrival beyond the control or fault of Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Gas Services will
be charged a call out fee.
