Blocked drains

Blocked drains are a common problem that people can face in their home. If the drain is blocked then the water cannot flow down the drain as it should. This can cause problems as the blockage can back up into the home’s toilet, sinks and other appliances.

We have experience engineers that can trace and repair drain blockages from inside the home to the main drain. Most drain blockages can be cleared with drain rods but sometimes they need to be jetted.

Blocked pipes

Common blockages in the home are kitchen sinks as the build up of excess food and fats down the plughole get wedged in the pipe and over time cause it to block.

our drainage engineers will locate the blockage, clear the waste pipes and clean the traps out to make sure they are free of any food, for really bad blockages the plumber will flush the pipe through using chemicals.

The most common blockages in the home is the toilet. This is normally due to the toilet not being flushed properly (children) or the water level in the cistern is faulty and not filling with the correct amount of water and therefore not having the correct amount of water to flush the toilet properly.

Most blocked toilet can be unblocked using drain rods and then a flushing process to clear the pipes. If the blockage is further along the pipe our engineer can investigate to trace the source of the blockage and fix the problem
